CHP Open NEA

The Copenhagen Open is pretty much skateboarding’s best kept secret and anyone who’s gone knows exactly why. For four days Denmark’s capitol city is taken over by skaters shredding the street and parks and having a blast along the way.

The event started with a street contest open to all skaters, with top finishers moving to the finals on the fourth day of the competition. Skaters and spectators then toured the city, hitting ledges and local parks for three more days until the contest’s conclusion at Copenhagen Skatepark.

With big names and even bigger tricks, the contest only seems to get better every year. It’s in one of the world’s happiest cities, and the atmosphere certainly reflects that. Check out TransWorld’s recap of the 2017 CPH Open below and be sure to make it in person next year.
